I Screamed Cone
I like to think of myself as a cool dog. Stylish, sociable, confident and handsome. Braff-Rhaff. But my image was tainted… I thought I would avoid wearing one of these things, but after an injury on the weekend, there was no avoiding it. Grrrrr….
What happened you ask? Well CK and I were at the NMC Dog Park this weekend to play fetch. As usual I am impatient and couldn’t wait to chase my chuck it ball, I was so excited to chase that I didn’t even notice my foot was bleeding. It was only when CK stopped, put me in the car and went to visit Dr. S’s office, that I noticed my right paw was feeling a little funny. I licked and the taste was familiar. ..
When Dr. S finally saw me, she noticed my back claw on my right paw was nearly off. She quickly pulled it off, tingled at first. She then bandaged me up and slapped this funny looking thing on my head. It was quite uncomfortable and annoying at the same time. My paw was itchy and wanted desperately to chew off the bandage, but this damn cone wouldn’t let me. Grrrr….

Poor JR,
We have been missing you at Puppy Park. Glad to see that you are on the mend. Do not worry about the cone… all of us have to wear one at some point in our lives. Thanks for the link to the Pawsh Dog - I spent the whole day there and am now exhausted and sleeping on Mom’s bed. She has to type this for me.
Hope to see you soon!
Nutella and Mom
Braff. Nutella. Thanks for your concern. I’m feeling a lot better. See you soon.
Poor J.R. Cooper did the same thing if you remember just about at this same time last year. He didn’t wear the cone, but had to wear slippers so he couldn’t itch his foot. Take it easy little guy.
