R.I.P. Cooper: We Miss You

We are sad to say goodbye to Cooper Reid. The one and only Rottweiler and pack leader of the NMC Weekend Dog Group. Cooper was diagnose with cancer and on Saturday August 8, 2009, he spent his last Saturday morning at the NMC field, to say goodbye to his furry friends and human companions.

Cooper was known for his friendly and confident nature. The six year old Rottweiler who likes to police and makes sure that everyone in the park is playing safe. He also loves to play fetch and always has a smile on his face.

Our hearts and prayers goes out to Cooper’s Mom and family. We know he is in a better place. We miss you Cooper!

  1. I’m sorry I’d always sneak up on you and try to take your ball when you’re not looking….but somehow you always manage to find it…Rhaff-rhaff! Goodbye my friend. I’ll miss you so much!

    Cooper's Mom says:

I am so fortunate to have so many two legged and four legged people around me who loved Cooper. He was a once in a lifetime kinda dog. He so loved coming to see his friends each weekend, even though he wouldn’t play with anyone except his ball (or anyone elses he decided to take!). He would have me up at 7am just to make sure we got there for the 9am start! Thank you all for your support and kindness.

  3. He was the best Rottweiler ever!!! So well trained, friendly, confident and hugable. :)
